China's MFA posted about 15:01 that Vice President Han Zheng, as Special Representative of President Xi Jinping, will travel to Türkiye from 6 to 12 November to attend the Antalya Leaders' Summit at the 31st Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31), and visit Georgia. Xinhua English (about 16:38) carried the announcement. At the regular press conference, spokesperson Mao Ning said Han would work with other leaders to provide political guidance; with the Paris Agreement entering its second decade, the meeting would focus on stronger implementation, faster action and cooperation, and China would uphold multilateralism and fully implement the Convention and Paris Agreement. Mao also said China and Georgia are comprehensive strategic partners and that Han would exchange views with Georgian leaders on bilateral ties and issues of mutual interest. Anadolu Agency and CGTN also reported the trip.
