Xinhua (about 18:56) reported that the Ministry of Finance said on 5 November that, with State Council approval, China will issue yuan-denominated green sovereign bonds in Canada during the week of 9 November, sized at no more than 4 billion yuan, with detailed arrangements to be announced before issuance. The ministry’s website carried the same statement. Reuters (via MarketScreener and TradingView) reported the plan. Results, tenors and pricing are not yet disclosed. The authorized notice landed about 18:56; the 5 November 20:00 close and 6 November 08:00 open did not log it, so the 10:00 slot catches it up.
