Chinese stocks rally on heavy volume, ChiNext up 4.16%, as offshore yuan nears 6.66.
On Friday 23 October Shanghai and Shenzhen turnover was about 1.96 trillion yuan, up about 427.6 billion from the previous session; robotics and non-bank financials led gains while power and banks lagged. Offshore yuan ended New York trading at 6.6690, near its strongest since June 2022, up about 170 pips on the week.
